Nine

October has brought us jam-packed schedules, much to do around the house, but loads of great memories. We have continued to hang photos on the walls & put up decorations around our new home. We've also had plenty of company coming and going, seeing our home, spending some time here from out of town, etc.
Last weekend, I went to Hammond, IN to spend some time with my friends, Christina & Charis. Christina is getting married August 1st next summer, and Matthew and I are best man/matron of honor for their ceremony. So, we did bridesmaid stuff and hung out all weekend while Matthew stayed home and hung out with the guys.
This weekend, we had the open house (which went well) and Cara, our sister, was here to stay with us for 2 days. It was so good to have her here and to spend time talking/catching up! It was also a good feeling to have some of our family and friends here to support us and see what we have been working on for the past 3 months now.
We also had a big event through my work, the 8th annual dreams with wings jack-o-lantern stroll. Matthew, a fellow counselor from summer camp, and I took 2 teenage guys we had in camp over the summer, which was so FUN also!

Right now, Matthew & I are sitting down to watch The Hulk (thanks, Bri!!!) and relax from our long weekend :) much love to all....Jessie
