For those of you who don't know...We moved into a house !!! this month.
Jessie's grandmother (Nenaw) lived in this house the last few years of her life. When she passed away, her uncles decided to offer us the opportunity to buy the house from them. It was a hard decision. We wanted to take advantage of the great financial opportunity they were giving us....but there have been memories shared in this house that threatened to haunt us. In the end....we concluded that Nenaw would have been thrilled to know her grandkids were able to live in "her" house. She was just that kind of person. When it came to her family, her doors were open, always. Also, we inherited Caesar (the cat) when she passed. He has been extremely happy since being moved back into his old home.
And so....after much work, many tears, and beginning the process of healing and accepting the situation....here we are.
The house has been a blessing from the beginning. All we needed to do was to paint the walls & buy a fridge. Eventually, we want to redo the patio (its cracking a bit) but for now....we are just feeling so lucky to have a nice home that needs only the repairs we want to do, so far. Trust us, we are very aware of how blessed we are. God has been good to us and has used our amazing families/friends to deliver.
The house has 3 bedrooms (1 we made into an office) and 2 bathrooms. It is sort of an L shape with the garage in the front. The living room & kitchen are open to each other & we have a nice-sized little backyard.
Which means....we want visitors!
All are welcome :) just let us know when you're going to be in the Louisville area and you will always have a place to stay!

Hi Jessie & Matthew-- you can be sure that Rich & I will take you up on your offer for guests in the house :). Remember you are always welcome down to Atlanta... Our house's guest bedroom gets lonely. Hope and pray that all is well ;). ~Hannah & Rich
