All things lately

March has been an INSANE month...
Matthew has been working on IEP's and case conferences all month. There were a couple nights where he came in from school and worked straight through until long after I had fallen asleep. Academic Superbowl has also started having meets (which he helps out with) & he is now doing worship for the youth at our church on wed. nights! Spring break begins Friday this week & hopefully that marks the end of the craziness for him.

My work-life has also been busy. I am in the midst of so many changes (yes, once again). I decided to go part-time at Dreams With Wings in order to take a position with a company in Southern Indiana called Meaningful Day Services. I will be splitting my hours pretty much down the middle, 20ish hours at DWW and 20 at MDS. At Dreams, I will continue to provide community living support for 2 clients & at MDS I will be a Frontline Therapist doing ABA with kids :) I will start the 1st week in April and I am super excited. Also, my supervisor at MDS has mentioned she may be able to give me some advice on Master's programs & becoming fully certified in ABA. I'm hoping this will cut down on the mileage I've been putting on my car by keeping me in Southern IN more of the week!

Mattie & I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary on the 10th of this month !!! The actual day was too busy for much celebration...but Matt did come home with sunflowers for our table :) That weekend, we went out. Matt arranged for us to have wine & cheese at the Culbertson West (where our reception was) with the owners. We did this last year as well & had our cake topper there. It is so nice going back & being in that beautiful old house and just chatting with our old pals. I really love that he is making it a tradition for us. Afterwards, we went for dinner on the river & then home to watch a movie. It was a great date! The next night, he went out for guys night w/ Nick and Kyle & I went out w/ Amy & Samantha.

We also had visitors this month! Matthew's Mom, step-dad, bro, and sis all came for a weekend. John & Nate helped put in our attic stairs & worked on the garage. Lois, Cara, my mom, and I went shopping! haha. We all had dinner with my parents Saturday night & they got to attend our church with us on Sunday. It was a fun weekend.
Hannah also came to town since we've last updated this...I had not seen my dear friend in 2 long years. She was in Uganda for the Peace Corps. It was good to reconnect & get to know each other again. I hope we can continue to stay in touch as she readjusts to America. She's moved to Cincinnati now which means she will be much closer to us too!
This weekend is our friends, Katie & Matt's, wedding...which is bringing my Sarah & Jenny to town :) and a whole group of old friends. I am excited the weekend!

This time next week....Matthew & I will be leaving for South Carolina to visit his Dad, step-mom, brothers, sisters, niece & new baby nephew! We are both really excited to see them and to be in SC again because it has been so long since we've been able to make a trip there.

By the time we return to IN, it will be pretty much April.
Looking back on it...I have to say that even being busy & all...March was pretty good to us.
